At last chia in powder/flour form! All the great nutrients in Chia in a ready to use powder. It has been sprouted and low-temperature dehydrated.
Source and Processing
These organic chia seeds have been sprouted and dehydrated at low temperatures. They are then milled (while kept at a low temperature) into fine flour.
Benefits
Sprouting increases the health properties of these omega-rich, heart healthy seeds, allowing the body to more easily digest the vitamins, minerals, protein, beneficial enzymes, amino acids and nutrients. This simple blend provides an excellent supply of omega fatty acids from a completely vegetarian source.
Chia seed provides ample calcium and protein to your tissues. They are also rich in boron, which helps the body assimilate and use calcium. The nutrients also support proper brain functioning. The chia seed (a gelatinous seed) is a great source of soluble fiber that can soak up ten times its weight in water. When inside your body, the seeds help you stay hydrated longer, and retain electrolytes in your bodily fluids. This also makes it very useful as a gluten-free thickener for smoothies, breads and puddings.
