Pineapple lovers will enjoy this “Rawma” bar from Gopal’s. It is supercharged with Noni and energy from nuts and seeds. It is a great organic treat for kids and snacks. All nuts and seeds in this bar are germinated.
Source and Processing
This bar’s nuts and seeds are germinated. It is then dehydrated at or under 108ºF. Rawma bars consist of all organic ingredients. The ingredients in this bar are dates, pineapple, almonds, figs, raisins, walnuts, hazelnuts, flax seeds and raw Noni powder.
Benefits
Germinating causes a useful breakdown of complex compounds, transforming them into essential combinations that are far more digestible than in their raw state. Amino acids/protein and nutritious fat, fiber, and total vitamin and mineral contents improve with the germinating process.
Germinating removes the enzyme inhibitors in nuts and seeds that can cause digestive problems, while activating digestive enzymes to assist your body in digesting the nut/seed’s nutrients. Germinating also removes the water-soluble phytic and oxalic acids in nuts and seeds that can block the assimilation of some nutrients.
Almonds, hazelnuts (aka filberts) and walnuts are rich in energy, minerals, vitamins, proteins, and other nutrients. Their consumption has been shown to lower cholesterol and heart disease. Further research has also demonstrated their ability to act as an antioxidant and help lessen after meal surges in blood sugar.
Flax is also a gelatinous seed, rich in protein, fiber, and many omega fatty acids, as well as DHA (shown to help with depression). It has been shown in one study to reduce the incidence and size of tumors.
Dates are also rich in natural fiber. Modern medicine has shown that they are effective in preventing abdominal cancer. They also surpass other fruits in the sheer variety of their constituents. They contain healthy plant fats, calcium, sulphur, iron, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, copper and magnesium.
Raisins are natures candy. They are one of the most nutritious dried fruits in the world. Raisins are cholesterol-free, low in sodium and totally fat-free. They provide many necessary vitamins and minerals, including iron, potassium, calcium and certain B vitamins. Raisins are a good source of fiber and rich in antioxidants. Raisins are 70% pure fructose (a natural form of sugar) which is easily digested for quick energy!
Pineapple is loaded with the enzyme bromelain which is used as an anti-inflammatory. It is also a good source of vitamin C, manganese and vitamin B1.
Figs are well known for their laxative effect and are a good source of B6. They are also known to have a soothing effect on irritated bronchia.
Noni is a source of protein (contains all essential amino acids), vitamins, and minerals, as well as potent antioxidants that support a healthy immune system. It has been reported to help strengthen the digestive system and increase energy and vitality. Noni may lower total cholesterol and triglycerides in current smokers with elevated cholesterol levels according to a study reported by the American Heart Association.
